Girls’ Club and Christie’s Auction House have teamed up to present the series Opportunity Ascending: Spotlight on Women Artists, to focus on investment and collection opportunities within contemporary art by women.

There have always been great women artists. Female artists have worked for centuries, making dynamic and provocative contributions to all  major art movements.

Recently, female artists are finding substantial critical and popular acclaim for their work within their lifetimes. Presently, cutting edge women’s work is leading headlines, hitting auction record highs, and drawing droves to museums, galleries and alternative spaces.
