The Michael Margulies Artist Agency is pleased to present the group show “Local Crit,” an analytical survey of multiple artists from the South Florida area. This pop up approached exhibition is designed as a community mechanism to re engage the greater Fort Lauderdale and Miami’s arts communities. It’s a self analysis between both cities in an ever expanding art scene. One signatured truth of the area is the absolute individuality of the forward thinking artists in the region. No two artists work the same way, most may pull from the same universal components but each outcome presents an ever diversified landscape and discourse.
Artists: Francie Bishop Good, Jen Stark, Jesse Laino, Carol Prusa, Jill Hotchkiss, Natalia Reparaz, Jessy Nite, Sheila Elias, Nicole Burko and Mariana Monteagudo.
