Eye on South Florida visits Girls’ Club for Traveling Plate event

Eye on South Florida visited Girls’ Club last week for a special event with ARC Broward and The Traveling Plate.  Dedicated to providing a fresh voice to South Florida’s non-profits,  Eye on South Florida caught up with this tri-fecta of non-profits event at Girls’ Club, hosted by ARC Broward to benefit scholarships for their Culinary Institute. The ARC Broward Culinary Institute uses food as a tool to transform lives and build stronger communities by providing top-level training, experience and real-world employment opportunities for our graduates, while also serving meals to disadvantaged men, women, and children in settings throughout South Florida.

Led by the acclaimed Chef Roy Villacrusis, ARC Broward’s culinary team treated The Traveling Plate guests to a four-course meal infusing Chef Roy’s signature Asian influences into the local tropical flavors of South Florida cuisine.  For more information on become involved with ARC Broward or The Traveling Plate contact [email protected].
