Quiet Strange
September 19 - December 19, 2025
Quiet Strange embraces the unsettling by bringing the uncanny to the forefront. Anchored in figuration, this exhibition explores themes of otherworldly encounters, distortion, and masking that conjure peculiar feelings. Extraterrestrial beings, bodies reassembled, and images that itch the subconscious blur the lines between the real and surreal. In a time where reality feels increasingly unstable and collective unease is pervasive, Quiet Strange invites viewers to use the strange as a place to confront absurdity.
Featuring Hernan Bas, Ana Albertina Delgado, Scott Daniel Ellison, Aliene de Sousa Howell, Marjolijn de Wit, Neil Farber, Natalie Frank, Martha Friedman, Leslie Gabaldon, Carol Jazzar, Klara Kristalova, Helen Levitt, Lee Materazzi, Emilio Martinez, Beatriz Monteavaro, Andrea Modica, Wangechi Mutu, Jennifer No, Jorge Pantoja, Ingrid Schindall, Asser Saint-Val, Sandra Scolnik, Beverly Semmes, Lauren Shapiro, Laurie Simmons, Nicola Tyson, and Gillian Wearing.

Connecting the dots between new and old.
