Join Girls’ Club and Minnesota-based artist Carolyn Swiszcz for an artist workshop.

Inspired by 19th Century panorama entertainments, which were often presented with musical accompaniment, Swiszcz will lead a workshop in which participants will create and collaborate to produce South Florida panorama that will be translated to video.

Starting with depictions of your favorite/least favorite locations, from strip malls to nature preserves and everywhere in between, participants will manipulate photos, paint, and drawing media to create a panorama strip.  Narration and sound will be added to video clips from this work, and a completed animation may be uploaded to the web.
