The Sublime has long been associated with the American Landscape. Traditionally linked to the wilderness, it can also be found right in your own back yard – when the light is beautiful, or the season is changing, or the high-rise condo is magnificently evermore skyward.

In this this workshop by Visiting Artist Lisa Sanditz, participants will discover the “sublime” within walking distance of Girls’ Club, and draw on location together with Sanditz.  Location sketches will then be developed indoors, with the application of more media. Some materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your favorite, paper, pencils, markers, watercolors, etc. as we try to capture this hybridized location.
