A Call to Artists from Business for the Arts of Broward

Business for the Arts of Broward (BFA) is seeking entries from established and emerging artists for their 1st Annual Fundraiser Art & Soul. Work must be original in concept, design and execution. Works will be selected based on originality, creativity, workmanship and artistic distinction.

BFA is seeking 2D work, exactly 12″ x 12″ including frame (if framed), with sale price of $300 (50% commission, with $150 going to artist directly) for its Art & Soul fundraiser on Friday, March 27, 2015 at GALLERYone DoubleTree Suites by Hilton, Fort Lauderdale, FL from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

This is an open call to all artists with 2-D works. Works may extend a few inches in depth off the surface, but must not extend beyond 12” x 12” horizontally or vertically. The theme and medium are open including but not limited to photography, painting, drawing, print making, paper art, fiber art, wood, clay, metal, glass or mixed media. Works should not exceed 30 lbs.

SUBMISSION: All work(s) must be submitted as high resolution jpegs via email to Robyn Vegas at [email protected]. Artists may submit up to two (2) different works for consideration that they personally have created. Submit one (1) high resolution jpeg of each piece of artwork and Art & Soul Artist’s Entry Form.

Deadline for submission is Friday, February 20, 2015 (via email) by 5:00 pm.
