Biography
Born 1983 in Miami, Florida.
Using only colored paper, an x-acto knife and glue, this Miami artist creates mesmerizing sculptures of colorful vortices, which she then animates. Exploiting a subtle understanding of physical forces at play on our consciousness, her work hypnotizes. She also works in drawing and animation. Stark says, “I am interested in how math and science is intertwined in everything around us and am inspired by all types of things, from plants to outer space, microscopic designs in nature, color and mystery.”
