Broadsheet as Object of Social Consciousness
Panel Discussion: Monday, December 10, 2012, 6-8 p.m.

Panelists Include:
Alex Campos, executive director of the Center for Book Arts in New York City, will be joined by visual artist Rosemarie Chiarlone; Michael Hettich, poet and MDC professor; John Cutrone, director of the Jaffe Center for Book Arts; and Frank Luca, chief librarian at the Wolfson Library in a panel discussion.

Presented in conjunction with the Sweat Broadsheet Collaboration exhibition on view in the gallery through December 21, 2012.

Miami Book Arts’ inaugural project, Sweat Broadsheet Collaboration, teams writers and artists to create literary broadsides on the theme of sweat. In some cases, artists responded to words provided by the writers; some writers produced new works after conversations with artists; and still other pairs worked closely together to produce new collaborative works.
