Join Cadence, Mockingbird Trail, Girls’ Club and Orange Island Arts for International Picnic Day!

International Picnic Day is a way to break out of the office routine of eating inside by stepping outside to enjoy each other’s company in the fresh air and sunshine (that our public parks have to offer). Cadence will once again spend their lunch break at Peter Feldman Park (a future Mockingbird Trail sculpture site!) in the Flagler Village neighborhood; you’re welcome to join! Pack your lunch but don’t bring dessert as frozen treats will be on sale. All proceeds go to the fabrication of Valeria Yamamoto’s sculpture for Mockingbird Trail.

Girls’ Club will be on hand for Poetry in the Park, providing copies of our recent zine publication Part-Time Rhyme and bringing on-demand poems from Orange Island Art Foundation poets to fellow picnickers.
